Believe in your designs

Just a quick word...  Believe in your gut, and what it tells you about your design aesthetic and your own creative expressions.  That's when you know something is right, and right for you.  Good design is what makes YOU happy; not the rest of the world, not a friend, not your neighbor, not family member...  Listen to what your instincts say, that's what makes a successful design to each individual person.  Have fun with it as well, design is enjoyable.  Once it is not, and it becomes stressful, stop... 

One of my favorite colors...

Just wanted to share one of my favorite wall colors...  Benjamin Moore's Big Bend Beige AC-37.  So soothing, and the perfect backdrop for anything in front of it...  Lovely.

This is a project I've already highlighted previously, but just to show you the gorgeous walls and how all the colors are set off by it.  Nice to see it up against the white trim also, so you can appreciate the tone of Big Bend Beige... Don't you love saying it!

Mother Nature does know beauty...

Just sat down at work and got an email blast from the great people over at CHISTA.  They have an incredible aesthetic.  Their furniture and accessories are so unusual and wonderful, many times creating objects Mother Nature has already perfected and turning them into such artistic creations, it's ridiculous!  Here are just a few examples of their extraordinary work...  All of these tables are ancient pieces of teak!  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
